About Me

Hi, my name is Heng Kiat. I'm 18 years old this year and I'm a small kid with big dreams. I have a passion for design and media as well as an affinity for music. My goal in life is to do what I love for a living. I like to do design during my free time and I play the flute as well as other percussion instruments. I love savoury foods and hate certain herbs such as parsley and coriander. One of my strengths definitely include being able to strongly communicate a point across visually, which was why I picked up Visual Media Design.

I'm currently studying in the Diploma in Business Information technology in Singapore Polytechnic and I'm an alumnus of Montfort Junior School and Montfort Secondary School. I attained 3 distinctions in the GCE 'N' Level examinations and was enrolled in the Polytechnic Foundation Programme. I'm currently in the Singapore Polytechnic Symphonic Band as a percussionist-turned flautist as well as a Concert Coordinator. I have taken part in a few leadership programmes during my time in Singapore Polytechnic. One of these occasions would be the LEAP Camp, part of Singapore Polytechnic's leadership development programmes.

I really treasure the people I care about and I'd try to do things for them so that they never would have to. I love a good meet up with old friends and reminiscing back on the old days.
